I'm Tarsha Takarangi-Berry, I am orginally from New Plymouth, born and raised and now live in Wellington.
Over the past nine years I have worked in a number of places teaching NZSL. For many years I worked with Van Asch Deaf Education Centre, helping Deaf children within the schooling system learn NZSL and also providing help with NZSL within the home. For New Zealand Sign Langugue week I was part of a team delivering NZSL classes with Deaf Aoteraoa. For the past five years I have been teaching NZSL classes with Tawa College Adult and Community Education.
My husband is Deaf also and I have two energenic hearing boys that take up all my time when I am not teaching NZSL.
